In an October episode, Nikki Cross appeared as a heel as part Sanity, a debuting stable. The team-up included Alexander Wolfe, Sawyer Fulton, and Eric Young. Nikki Cross and Young would help Wolfe and Fulton in defeating Tye Dillinger and Bobby Roode in the classic Dusty Rhodes Tag Team.
A week from the October episode, Nikki Cross got her first singles victory after defeating Danielle Kamela. However, the judge revised the decision when Cross continued the attack after the match. In 2018, Nikki Cross joined the main roster and teamed up with Alexa Bliss. The two joined many battles, including SmackDown Women’s Championship and Survivor series.
Nikki Cross married her long-time boyfriend, Damian Mackle, who has a ring name of Killian Dain in 2019.
