Born on April 5, 1986, Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr is the daughter of 16-time world champion Ric Flair and then-wife Elizabeth Harrell. She also has a younger brother, Reid, who died in March 2013.
Growing up, Ashley was an athletic kid with a hot body. When she was in high school, she was a team captain to their volleyball team. Ashley was even player of the year in 2004 to 2005. Ashley was a certified personal trainer before she became a professional wrestler. Her first appearances were in 2000, at the age of 14. Her father accompanied her in the World Championship Wrestling with a debut name Ashley Flair. In one episode of Monday Nitro, the Flair family went into a feud with Russo, David, and Daffney and the trio invaded the Flair’s home. The match ended with the trio defeating Ric Flair on the ringside.
Flair signed a contract with WWE in May 2012 with Lodi as her trainer before she joined NXT. On her next matches, she adopted the name Charlotte and entered every game with that boobs and ass revealing costumes. She continued to take on events with Bayley and the BFFs throughout 2013 and ended after she incurred an injury. She rested for two months and returned in January 2014 on an episode in NXT. She confronted Paige for the NXT Championship and won on their match on April 24.
However, in February 2015, Charlotte got defeated by Banks on their fatal four-way match. They had a re-match on July 8, but Charlotte was unsuccessful in getting the title.
On July 3, 2015, Charlotte teamed up with Becky Lynch and Paige to form the PCB team to fight against the Bella team (Alicia Fox and Bella Twins). Their feud lasted for a couple of months until Paige turned on Lynch and Charlotte. Their squad broke up, and they fought for Charlotte’s title in March. The Divas Championship changed to WWE Women’s Championship, and Charlotte won over the claim against Banks and Lynch.
Charlotte had more matches throughout the years with WrestleMania. In October 2019, she even defeated Bayley again for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. However, she dropped the title to Bayley after five days.
In her last event, Charlotte won the Royal Rumble match against Shayna Baszler. And in another game, she defeated Rhea Ripley for her second NXT Women’s Championship.
