In 2012, Carpenter secured a recurring role in The Lying Game that premiered in ABC. She got a promotion shortly to play as a leading role in the series’ second season. Aside from that, she returned in the second installment of the Expendables that year.
Carpenter had the chance to become the host of Investigation Discovery’s Surviving Evil starting in 2013. Two years later, she starred with Morgan Obenreder in the film bound, which gained decent scores in terms of commercial success and viewership. Later on, she would star in the TV film Mommy’s Secret.
Carpenter’s recent TV projects starting 2017 include Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, 9-1-1, No Good Nick, and Pandora.
