Georganne and John Campbell welcomed Danielle Marie Campbell on January 30, 1995. The Campbell family lived in Illinois before Danielle moved to Los Angeles for her acting career. After her guest role, she then landed a lead role for the Disney Channel original movie called Starstruck. She starred alongside Sterling Knight, who played the character, Christopher Wilde. The film premiered on Disney Channel on February 14, 2010.
Then, in 2011, Danielle starred in another film called Prom. She portrayed the character, Simone Daniels. The Walt Disney movie premiered on April 29, 2011, and garnered total sales of more than $10 million worldwide. Although the film did a good deal of sales, viewers say that it was a complete flap.
Danielle had other movie and TV show engagements before she landed a role on the CW series, The Originals. She appeared in the first three seasons of the series as the character, Davina Claire, and disappeared by the end of season three. Her leading role then resurfaced in season four and five.
After her big break in the TV series, The Originals, Danielle starred in other TV shows like the Runaways in 2017-2018. She also appeared in the drama series, Famous in Love, in 2018. Currently, she plays a leading role in the psychological-thriller TV series, Tell Me a Story.
