Born on December 8, 1983, Lindsey Broad spent most of her childhood in New York City. Ever since Lindsey was a child, her ultimate dream was to become an actress. That was why she took up a theatre degree when she was at Pennsylvania State University.
While in college, Lindsey was active in various extra-curricular activities. She portrayed the character, Spring in the web comedy show, The Burg. From 2006 to 2009, Broad appeared in 13 episodes total. While being in The Burg, she had a brief appearance in the famous series, The Gossip Girl, in 2007. She played the part of the girl who took a photo of Serena Van Der Woodsen in the pilot episode.
Also, in 2007, Lindsey had another TV gig in one episode of the series, Without a Trace. She also got a guest role in Ghost Whisperer in 2008.
Lindsey’s first film appearance was on the 2009 romantic comedy movie, Spread, which starred Ashton Kutcher and Anne Heche. She played as the roommate of the main character, Emily. In the same year, Broad also appeared in the State of Romance’s pilot episode. The series was the modern version of Pride and Prejudice.
By the mid of 2009, Lindsey got a recurring role in the comedy sitcom, ‘Til Death. She appeared in the first two seasons of the series as the character, Krysten Ritter, until she got replaced by Laura Clery in 2010.
Then came her most significant break in the mid of 2010. Lindsey landed the role of Cathy Simms in the comedy mockumentary series, The Office. She joined the NBC series on its eighth season, replacing Pam Halpert at the moment. In the series, she became in love with John Krasinski’s character and began seducing him, of course, not to the point of showing her boobs and ass.
In 2012, she had another short appearance in the action-comedy film, 21 Jump Street, along with Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum.
In 2019, Broad appeared in the comedy-drama series, In the Dark, as Chelsea for seven episodes.
