The actress has always been praised for her stunning beauty, but this time, her work with Vanity Fair has involved accusations of photoshop. Nicole Kidman has recently posed for the magazine’s annual Hollywood issue in which she wore a black co-ord from Miu Miu.
However, her torso in the images looked elongated with some painted effect. Though the star managed to look fabulous in the Vanity Fair shoot, her fans readily noticed the photoshops. Many of them contested the choice by mentioning “She deserves better.”
The actress is one of the stars who have been nominated for the Academy Award this year. The publication has selected her alongside Idris Elba, Penelopé Cruz, Kristen Stewart, Benedict Cumberbatch, Simu Liu, Andrew Garfield, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez for her contribution to Hollywood.
Nicole stated how she portrayed the character of Lucille Ball in Being The Ricardos. She talked about how she perceived the character of the 50s comedy icon. She fell ill after working on Big Little Lies, where she played an abuse survivor. Nicole said, “I’ve started to understand a bit more to take care of yourself.”
The actress also mentioned the characterization planned by screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, “‘Aaron Sorkin wrote her as the smartest person in the room because she was.” Nicole also discussed some traits of Ball’s character, and she particularly mentioned how Lucille never apologized for her smarts. She added, “A lot of times, particularly as a woman if you’re smart, there’s a lot of apologies.”
