Actors Diane Ladd and Bruce Dern welcomed their baby, Laura Elizabeth Dern, on February 10, 1967. However, when Laura was two years old, her parents divorced, and she got raised by her mother. Also, during her childhood, Laura developed scoliosis.
Laura always had the blood of an actor in her. Aside from her parents, her grandmother was also an actress. So, her first movie appearance was an easy one. Then, from 2002 to 2019, she appeared in more than 30 films. She even became Scarlet Johansson’s mother in the movie, Marriage Story, and earned an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
