If it’s a little colder or even wet, it will turn into a constant battle between the computer systems and the car’s engine. For beautiful days like these, Manhart has the brand new MH3 600 for you.
A Manhart package for the M3 and M4 was already announced in March. Back then with some limited information and computer images. That has now changed. The real product is ready and the German tuner has immediately listed the facts. Well so nice.
The Manhart MH3 600 brings the power of the blown 3.0-liter six-in-line to 635 hp and 780 Nm of torque. In comparison, a standard M3 Competition has to make do with 510 hp. The result is an absolute sprint cannon. If you have enough grip, you can sprint from 0-200 km/h in just 10.5 seconds. 250 km/h is on the counter in 17 seconds. And the 100-200 km/h sprint is done in 6.42 seconds.
In addition to playing with the ECU, Manhart has made some adjustments to the BMW M3. They strip the OPF out of the exhaust system and also install new catalytic converters. This is all without TÜV approval and therefore only for customers outside of Germany. The Germans have to make do with the standard exhaust.
Further adjustments are H&R lowering springs, K&W suspension, new 21-inch rims and possibly an upgrade for the brakes if you wish. All in all, the Manhart MH3 600 is a beast of a sedan that can be quite crafty with only rear-wheel drive.
